Usage Of Octisalate
Octisalate is a classic oil-soluble UVB sunscreen filter widely used in global cosmetic industry, which can effectively absorb ultraviolet rays within the wavelength range of 280~320nm.
1. Sunscreen & personal care
It is the core raw material for sunscreen cream, lotion, spray, lip balm and outdoor sun care products. It prevents skin sunburn, erythema and epidermal damage caused by UVB radiation, and can be compounded with UVA absorbers to build full-spectrum sunscreen formulas. It has excellent oil solubility, comfortable skin feel, outstanding water resistance and sweat resistance, suitable for waterproof outdoor sunscreen products.
2. Cosmetic formulation auxiliary
It acts as a solubilizer for other lipophilic UV filters, improving the dispersion stability of complex sunscreen systems. It can enhance the spreadability of lotions, foundations and makeup, and serve as mild skin conditioning ingredients.
