Usage of Ethylhexyl Triazone
Ethylhexyl Triazone is a high-efficiency oil-soluble UVB absorber widely used in sunscreen cosmetics.
1. Powerful UVB shielding capacity: It has extremely strong molar absorption coefficient in UVB band (280–320 nm), delivering excellent sunburn prevention effect, ideal for manufacturing high-SPF sunscreen products.
2. Excellent photostability: It hardly decomposes under long-term sunlight exposure, maintaining stable UV filtering effect and extending the lasting sun protection of finished cosmetics.
3. Good formulation compatibility: It dissolves easily in common cosmetic oils and esters, and can be compounded with UVA filters such as avobenzone, DHHB and bemotrizinol to make full-spectrum sunscreen with both UVA and UVB protection.
4. Main application scenarios: Widely used in high SPF sunscreen lotion, sunscreen cream, outdoor body care, isolation cream and daily skincare; also used as anti-UV additive for plastics, coatings and synthetic materials to slow light aging.
