Usage of Ketoconazole
1.Antifungal Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
Ketoconazole is an imidazole broad-spectrum antifungal API. It inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis, effective against dermatophytes, candida and other pathogenic fungi. It is used for manufacturing oral tablets, cream, shampoo and other topical & systemic antifungal preparations to treat skin mycosis, candidiasis, seborrheic dermatitis and tinea infections.
2.Raw Material for Cosmetic Anti-dandruff Formulations
Common anti-fungal & anti-dandruff functional raw material applied in anti-dandruff shampoo, scalp care products. It relieves scalp itching, reduces dandruff formation and suppresses malassezia reproduction.
