Usage of Homosalate
Homosalate (Homomenthyl salicylate) is a classic oil-soluble organic UV filter widely recognized in global cosmetic industry, mainly absorbing UVB ultraviolet rays at 295–315nm. It features good oil solubility, excellent formula compatibility, strong water and sweat resistance, stable photochemical properties, and is officially approved for cosmetic use by FDA, EU, Japan and Australia.
1. Sunscreen & Daily Skincare
It is the mainstream core raw material for sunscreen lotion, cream, spray, lip balm and outdoor sun care products. It effectively prevents sunburn, redness and epidermal damage caused by UVB irradiation, and can be compounded with other UVA absorbers to build full-spectrum sun protection systems.
