Usage of Dipentaerythritol
Dipentaerythritol is a white crystalline polyol powder with high hydroxyl content, excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance. It is widely used in coating, plastic, resin, flame retardant, lubricant and synthetic material industries.
1. Powder Coatings & High-grade Resins
It is the core raw material for saturated polyester resin applied in outdoor powder coatings, improving coating hardness, weather resistance, anti-yellowing performance and curing stability. It is also used to synthesize alkyd resin, polyurethane resin and acrylic resin for high-temperature resistant coatings.
2. PVC Heat Stabilizer
It works as auxiliary stabilizer for PVC plastic, cooperating with calcium-zinc stabilizers to enhance long-term thermal stability, prevent discoloration and extend service life of plastic products.
3. Environment-friendly Flame Retardant Intermediate
Used for manufacturing phosphorus-based intumescent flame retardants, widely added to plastics, textiles and coatings to achieve low-smoke, halogen-free flame retardant effect.
4. Synthetic Lubricants & Grease
Employed to produce high-temperature resistant synthetic ester lubricants, suitable for mechanical equipment working under high temperature and heavy-load conditions.
