Usage of Cresyl diphenyl phosphate
1. CDP is halogen‑free aryl phosphate ester flame‑retardant plasticizer, mixed isomer product. It features high phosphorus content, low viscosity, excellent thermal stability and good gel‑forming performance for PVC resins. It serves as an economical alternative to TPP and TCP, integrating plasticizing, flame‑retardant and anti‑wear functions for various polymer systems.
2.Excellent additive for flexible PVC formulations. It exhibits outstanding compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, accelerates resin gelation during processing, improves flexibility, surface gloss and stain‑resistance of finished goods. Widely applied in PVC wire & cable sheathing, conveyor belts, flooring materials, wallpaper, synthetic leather and calendered films. It forms dense char layer upon combustion to restrain flame spread and smoke emission, maintains stable electrical insulation performance under long‑term service.
3.Suitable for nitrocellulose, phenolic resin, epoxy resin, PVB and synthetic rubber systems. It acts as flame‑retardant plasticizer for coatings, varnishes and adhesives, enhancing film toughness, impact resistance and anti‑aging property, preventing coating cracking and peeling. It is also adopted in textile coating and fabric finishing applications.
