Tetrabutylurea is well used on hydrogen anthraquinonesolvent in the new process of producing hydrogen peroxide by anthraquinone method. Compared with trioctyl phosphate,hydroanthraquinone has higher solubity.
1. Acts as high‑efficiency working‑fluid solvent for anthraquinone‑process hydrogen peroxide production, can fully or partially replace trioctyl phosphate to improve hydrogenation efficiency and production capacity.
2. Serves as polar aprotic solvent and reaction medium for various organic synthesis reactions including coupling reactions and nucleophilic substitution, stabilizes reactive intermediates and boosts reaction yield.
3. Functions as liquid‑liquid extractant for separation and purification of metal ions and acidic organic compounds in hydrometallurgy and chemical separation processes.
