Use of m-Xylene
m-Xylene is well used as organic compound, which is formed when two hydrogen atoms of benzene are replaced by two methyl groups, with the two methyl groups in the meta position. Colorless and transparent liquid with a smell similar to toluene. It is insoluble in water but miscible with most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and chloroform.
