Usage of Polyethylene Glycol
1. Polyurethane Raw Material
Key polyether polyol feedstock for flexible foam, rigid foam, elastomer, adhesive and sealant production. Controls foam density and improves flexibility and impact resistance of PU products.
2.Cosmetic Lubricant & Humectant
Low-irritation emollient and solvent for creams, lotions, hair care and makeup formulations. Reduces friction, enhances spreading property and stabilizes oil-water system.
3.Pharmaceutical Excipient & Solvent
Used as carrier, lubricant and solubilizer for topical ointments, oral liquid preparations and drug delivery systems, improves dispersion of active ingredients.
4.Industrial Surfactant & Antifreeze Additive
Serves as demulsifier, defoamer and lubricant in oilfield, textile and water treatment. Applied in antifreeze and hydraulic fluid formulations with low pour point feature.
