Usage of Carbomer
1. Cosmetic Thickener & Gel Forming Agent
High-efficiency water-based thickener and gel former. It builds clear, stable gel texture after neutralization. Widely used in facial gels, serums, hand sanitizer, cream, lotion and mask base to adjust viscosity and improve product stability.
2.Pharmaceutical Excipient for Topical Preparations
Approved medicinal excipient. Used as thickener, suspending agent and gel matrix for topical ointments, dermatological gels, vaginal gels and ophthalmic preparations, controls drug release rate.
3.Chemical Raw Material & Suspending Stabilizer
Industrial polymer additive, works as dispersant and suspension stabilizer in water-based systems, prevents solid particles from sedimentation. Applied in water treatment, coating and daily chemical formulations.
