1. Industrial Circulating Cooling Water & Boiler Water Treatment
EDTMPA is an excellent organic phosphonate chelating agent with powerful scale and corrosion inhibition performance. It can effectively chelate calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions in water to prevent carbonate, sulfate and phosphate scale formation on pipeline and equipment surfaces. It forms stable protective films on steel, copper and aluminum metal substrates to reduce equipment corrosion, widely applied in circulating cooling water systems, medium and low-pressure boilers, heat exchangers and reverse osmosis water systems.
2. Polyurethane (PU) Production
Serves as a high-efficiency metal ion masking agent in polyurethane manufacturing. Trace metal ions in raw materials will catalyze side reactions and cause discoloration, poor stability and abnormal foaming of PU products.
