Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (CAS 9004-62-0) is a nonionic water-soluble polymer derived from natural cellulose. It is widely used in cosmetics & personal care as thickener, rheology modifier, emulsion stabilizer and film former. It produces crystal clear gels, improves texture and skin/hair sensory feel, stabilizes foams and suspends active ingredients. Compatible with most cosmetic raw materials over broad pH range, suitable for both leave-on and rinse-off formulations.
