Usage of Papain
1. Natural Proteolytic Enzyme for Food Processing
Natural cysteine protease extracted from papaya latex. Used as meat tenderizer to degrade collagen and muscle fiber; acts as beer clarifier to eliminate cold haze; applied in biscuit baking to soften dough and improve crispness. Also for protein hydrolysis to produce seasonings and polypeptide products.
2.Cosmetic Exfoliating Active Ingredient
Gentle exfoliant in skincare formulas. It hydrolyzes keratin on skin surface to remove dead skin cells, brighten complexion and refine skin texture, widely used in peeling cream, facial mask and cleansing products.
